Flight Path was born from the belief that great wine should feel inviting, not intimidating.
We wanted to bring the magic of the cellar door experience to the heart of Sydney, creating a space where curiosity and connection flow as easily as the pour.
Since opening our doors in Newtown, we’ve become a neighbourhood favourite for anyone who enjoys a good drop and even better company. Each month, we feature a different winery, region, varietal or style through our rotating wine flights, giving guests the chance to explore hidden gems and celebrated producers without racking up the air miles.
Whether you’re here to learn something new, unwind after work, or linger into the night, Flight Path makes wine discovery feel easy, intimate, and endlessly enjoyable.
Meet the team
Stu & Elise Williams
Flight Path is the passion project of husband-and-wife duo Elise and Stu Williams, two locals who turned their shared love of wine and hospitality into something the neighbourhood didn’t know it was missing.
Elise, Flight Path’s sommelier, is the heart of the experience – curating thoughtful wine lists, guiding tastings, and creating those “aha” moments that connect people to the stories behind each bottle. Her focus is simple: great wine, genuine connection, and an experience that feels both personal and memorable.
Stu is the man who keeps everything humming behind the scenes. You’ll often find him at the bar, chatting with regulars and keeping the good vibes (and good wine) flowing.
Together, they’ve built Flight Path as the kind of place they always wished existed – relaxed, welcoming, and quietly obsessed with great wine.
