Their wines reflect the vineyard’s seasonal rhythm, resulting in authentic bud-to-bottle expressions of place. Each label is painted by Steve’s sister, Kellie — quite literally making the wine art in a bottle.

At the heart of ChaLou is a love for connection and craft. Nadja and Steve are dedicated to sharing their story and wines with everyone they meet.

Recently voted the 2025 Halliday Wine Companion’s ‘Dark Horse’ Winery of the Year, we were exceptionally proud to feature these wines and introduce more people to ChaLou as our featured winery in July – one of our favourites to date!
